Narrating cast is gold and worth trying the audiobook alone for that. The story was entertaining, even for someone who’s read a handful of Dungeon Core series. A core that’s trying to grow in nifty and crafty ways, the adventurers who grow and/or meet untimely ends, and the grand scheme of trying to tread carefully..

without spoilers I love the Magic the Gathering style combat. Travis Baldree’s character is a hilarious tongue in cheek reference to The Cradle series. always loved this series and that one and its so subtle but so good.
