Venom meets D&D

This book was a very pleasant surprise. If you are a Venom fan, and enjoy a good D&D experience, this book is for you.
Matt just doesn’t miss. Definitely a darker book than the others but that’s expected with a book this far into the series. Loved every minute of it. I’m still laughing about the first Uzi Jesus entrance. Also it was an absolute privilege to hear Patrick Warburton and Travis Baldree.
This was a blast to listen to! The plot and the pace of the story keeps you locked in while the voice acting seals the deal. I’ll definitely be listening the entire series. Go Mongo!
OMG I love this series and it just keeps getting better with every book. In particular, the last 10 minutes makes this audio book 10000% worth it!
I will never be happier than when I’m listening to a new book following Carl and Donut. I’m always worried that a book won’t live up to my expectations but I’m happily surprised when every single book exceeds them. Themes and Story lines hinted at since book one, characters who actually grow and evolve in..
When I purchased the first dungeon crawler Carl book I didn’t really expect a lot. I had a bunch of credits and I really wasn’t sure what to listen to and I’d recently started playing Diablo. I was familiar with Jeff Hayes work from the monster Hunter series and was really impressed with this voice..
Another quality addition to the series. Both bizarre and amazing. Exactly what you hope for and the lead up to Faction Wars…really really enjoyed it. Now I am just sad I have to wait for the next one.
This isn’t the best entry in the series yet, but it was excellent nonetheless. The card system felt weirdly complex and ad hoc (a fact that gets lampshaded quite early on), but you don’t really need to understand how it works to enjoy the story—and the totems themselves are absolutely hilarious.
Its an incredible addition to an amazing series, it just keeps getting better and more fresh. Matt Dinniman is lemon fresh, Mr. Fresh so clean. I would protect that man with my life just so that he could continue writing these books. Shut up and take my money, Matt. A fan
