This is the second book in a terrific series! Unforgettable characters. Noir humor. Unexpected twists on supernatural notions. What a combination! Shami must be quite a character herself and I can’t wait for more from her!!

I enjoyed the books. The card system, and the characters were all well fleshed out. The only character I didn’t enjoy as much was the one who felt a bit like Hermione. The book ends abruptly and there is no book three yet.

I like how the characters are developing and how the story is moving progressing, Seriously needing more, too bad this one was only 9 hours long, but it was a cliff hanger ending leaving me wanting more
