I can’t wait for the next book. This series has me hooked! The best part for me is the humor.
Waiting for book 3
Review from Discovery →
the story, hilarious! the performance, majestic. the humor goes all over the place, the story at a point hits you with the feels at time, just all around great, just wish the book was longer, and hoping it’s not one floor a book, because that’ll be 18 books plus we’d want more.
the story was fun as usual and the characters were great. seemed a bit short and rushed. the dungeon almost seemed like an after thought this book. a nuisance to “get out of the way” instead an interesting and dangerous setting. hopefully floor six will be more in depth.
I don’t normally write reviews, but since I’ve become unreasonably obsessed over this series, I figured that I probably should. I have been attempting to figure out people to recommend this to, and I’ve only gotten to four people so far and at least one went through it faster than I did. The others remain..
What a journey this book takes you on. Jeff Hays has the absolute best narration to these stories. This is a book worth listening to many times.
As usual from Soundbooth Theater, the performances were fantastic. The story was fine, though it takes awhile to get progressing. The humor was groan worthy in most cases, only eliciting a few chuckles from me.
Silly fantasy comedy works best when it’s rooted in good drama, adventure, or horror. This has all three, as much or more than than the 1st book.
Jeff Hayes marry me. I loved the book Narrator is wonderful. I mean the guy is really good. Story line is great as well. Please hurry up with book 6.
it’s insane how much better this book is than defiance of the fall. I made it to book 9 of that poop show. this is even better than He who fights with monsters (going on 1 book to judge, obviously don’t know how this will play out) it has heart and soul and doesn’t spend..
