I really enjoyed the story but I also like the strong community themes and doing the right thing.

So many of these series get ridiculous just to keep it interesting. This series justifies each escalation in realistic and believable ways. Despite how over the top the story gets, it’s justified and believable. Absolutely excellent book and series.

similar themes to dungeon crawler Carl without being directly related. I’d say anyone who enjoyed that book series will probably enjoy this one. The fact that it’s a one-off also really helps.

There are no words expressive enough to explain how good this series is. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

I’m three hours in and desperately looking for a reason to slog through seven more hours. It just doesn’t have the magic. No real humor, very forgettable characters, I can’t even remember the main characters name and I just turned if off 30 seconds ago. It is exceptional at being “meh”.
