Great book, really the only time a character has regressed in a book and actually felt like the old man they are suppose to be. Enjoy the book lads.

Fun little gem in an increasingly crowded litrpg space. Jeff Hays (and crew) do an amazing job bring it to life.

Trial By Fire was fantastic! The world of Archemi is so rich and beautiful I wish it were real! James has done such an amazing job with the characters, story and world building that I’m powering through the series quicker than I thought I would. The end took a turn I was not expecting yet..

I don’t know how, but I think this story hits a perfect sweetspot between nerdy stat-laden metagaming, and epic magic journey.It’s everything I didn’t know I always wanted.

I really liked it. I will be buying extra credits just so I don’t have to wait to hear the next book!

A great addition to the series. Definately a fun and exciting ride. Multiple plot lines are brought up and concluded in the book, which all help to progress the story. Once again, the narration is phenomenal with music and sound effects that really help to further immerse yourself into the story.

I love these books. This one is as good as the first. What a great world builder Matt Dinniman is. I can’t wait to start the next book.
