Fast paced and funny

Review from An Unexpected Hero →

The authors should totally trademark The Step Father of LitRPG… because I think they just took the place of whoever was trying to be LITrpg’s dad with this book. Can’t wait for the next one. Was engaging and funny, with some good twists throughout.

Wild ride.

Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →

This has gotten so much love I just had to give it a listen. Narration is on a whole other level with Jeff Hays. Can’t say enough about his range/character distinction and the story itself did not disappoint. Can’t wait to dig further into the series!

Tell instead of Show

Review from Mimic & Me →

Good premise but the writer drags the story out with telling over showing, and then telling you again over and over again. I felt like it was just running in place. Halfway through you’ll feel like barely anything has happened at all.
