This book, not to mention the entire series, is absolutely incredible. The characters, the world building, the narration, the music, and the writing style are all flawless. It is an absolute must-read for any fan of Lit RPG. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend this book.

It’s a pretty good book, not great, but good. I’ll listen to the next book and go from there. Note: the “reverb/hallow sound” is strange for his inner monologue.

Too slow, not enough development

I tend to like DnD themed stories where someone ends up in a game. However, this one has no one relatable, there was no character growth, it was very slow moving, except for when things inexplicably jumped forward. There was some originality at the end, but it wasn’t enough to make continue the series.
