Chester in the bathroom made me pause the story cause I was laughing too hard to hear 🤣. 10/10 will listen to again
excellent intro to lit rpgs, fantastic audio, cannot wait for the next book, hopefully done by the same company.
I am LOVING this series! Love the style, love the performances. This book is written in a way that I haven’t ever experienced. But it works SO well. I’ll be continuing on with the series!
I found the story enjoyable overall, but the extensive battle scenes could benefit from some editing. If the author trimmed some excess detail, it would enhance the pacing and overall impact. A little tightening up could make a significant improvement.
So first I’ll admit I’ve not finished the story but did listen to 8 hours worth of it. So far I’ve struggled to listen to this story and found I could leave it going and come back and not miss anything. In 8 hours the characters haven’t done much but talk about plans and stats…
I was wondering why there was so much darkness in this series but I guess it’s just based on the idea that goblins and monsters are inherently evil. Interesting. Because they really just act like regular folk apart from the fact that they are monsters…This series is a continuation of the previous with the same..
Story was entertaining enough. The pacing of the MC’s progression toward greatness is a bit slow. That’s why I am looking forward to book two. The audio production is off the hook and walks the line between mere narration and a cinematic experience. Sound Booth Theater always raises the bar.
