This book was hilarious. If you ever played an RPG or Diablo, You will feel right at home. The voices and context are fantastic, with a feeling of an original D&D campaign.
Seriously, what a fun story. I’m already hooked. The story balances comedy with world building so well. I was immersed the whole time!
Ending wrapped up by long monologue rant by one side character. A bit disappointed. also give main character reverse-Deus ex machina by threw random generated game-ending doom without any specific reason after they solved the main quest is not cool. New characters are not very interesting . but overall okay enough for me to continues..
Honestly I’ve loved the series but this one is the brightest star. I cried (the ball, Donut singing omg!!!!), I laughed, all the emotions. Production is as always top notch, and narration is genius. I’m tempted to relisten to the entire book again before the next.
This series was what got me into Litrpg. I was so excited when this book came out after it had been so long since the last one. It was above and beyond my expectations! Hugo you have a gift for story telling I can’t wait to read your next work! Soundbooth killed it as always!
I still absolutely love the humor and lightness (mostly) of this series. there seemed to be more dropped plot points and continuity errors in this one than even the last 2. still an absolute great listen though. excellent performance
DCC is a very creative series, well orated, and full of action, comedic, and dramatic moments. It’s well rounded and constantly changing and I recommend this to anyone who enjoys bizarre and funny spectacle.
Please soundbooth, I need the next one!!!!! These books are so freaking fun.Recommended to all fans of lit rpg and cradle-esque books.
