cant wait for the next book. the author continues to expand the universe and up the ant-iy with out going straight god mode. i enjoy the story and depth.
As the title says, excellent writing and narration- I listened to the whole series in two weeks and I need more 😂.
Great performance by sound booth but the story fell flat, was predictable, and the magic system didn’t evolve at a pace that was enjoyable.

I absolutely love the character building in this set of books. I love that they deal with real human emotions and make it feel like you’re going through some of the things they’re going through and balance it with some Kick-Ass battles.
Characters are flat. Conversation is flat. System wasn’t crunchy enough. Progression was meaningless. Military was not very military-like. Female audio was tinny. Main voice actor was British for some reason.
The author likes to restate certain things within the story. The concept of the story is good, but the writing is not as if the hammer home a point, the author will retail an entire mini story arc just to get a pop across the point that specific person is good or bad. By the..
