The book is fantastic. I’m only a casual fan of litRPG but this book has been the best thing I’ve read in the last 10 years. Jeff Hays does an unbelievable job bringing this world to life.

This is my favorite in the series, love how the plot thickens and how it has very vulnerable moments for the characters, yet I never ceases to be funny. I love the musical and pop culture references and the narration is impeccable.

I never heard of this series before but I love it! So clever, so hilarious, so entertaining, so smushy.

Love the series! This one felt like it was one prolonged battle at a single gate. It’s in the title but dang- I’ll probably skip over this one when I re-listen to the series for the next book but I am still getting the next!
