I was looking for a fantasy book with some humor when I stumbled onto this LitRPG piece of amazingness. I enjoyed the situations and the dialogue and that even secondary characters feel fleashed-out. This book would be perfect for a gamer who is a reluctant reader. Bring on more of Carl and Princess Donut.

This series is one of my favorites I have listened to in the last year. The narration is fantastic. the only small complaint I have is that the book is a bit short. Still I highly recommend it.

This is such an original story. I have never read anything quite like it. I love Princess Donut. The voice acting is exceptional. They really could not have done any better with the audio. I think it would be a shame to read the book instead of listening to it.

I love how the MC plot armor is spread out between achievements, boxes, and loot from various kills. Then you add a little MacGyver and you never know how our crew will survive but it’s been so much fun.

This was relatively short all things considered. Yet, was still worth the credit. Having consistently competent characters in this genre, sadly, can be hard to come by. So many stories have their characters acting against character or randomly irrationally performing actions that only make sense as a plot device or to move the plot forward…

Waited so long for this but felt it came up short… How could you spend more than an hour on card stats…?!?😳..there wasn’t much actionable material… The narrative was a bit muffled at the beginning…really hoping for book 3 with longer hrs…
