I’ve never been so glad to have something recommended to me. I generally prefer to read books visually, but this is genuinely one book that is IMPROVED by the performance, and I will be listening to the entire series through this rather than reading.

For book three the author has decided to sample his own stuff. Another tournament. This one reminded me of listening to a Fortnite game being played. I couldn’t listen to it fast enough.

Second read/listen. It’s incredible. The story and characters are so much fun. The situation Dinniman crafts is bleak but there are so many moments of hope and absurdity that you can’t help but smile.

I’ve said it with every book I don’t know exactly what it is but I love to listen to these. Jeff Hayes and cast kill it as always they make me wonder why I would ever buy anything that isn’t a soundbooth production. Writing and story spot on and top notch as always. Just a..
