Felt no attachment to the characters and the emotional conflict of the main character makes no logical sense. Poorly written interesting concept however

spoilers…. I have already read the book so was excited to listen to the audio version but several times I could not understand what Rip was saying at all, if I had not read it I would be completely lost. also there was times when the a character spoke softly that I had to turn..
There odds a good balance of humor, action, and character building in this series and every so often the author throws in something philosophical to the mix. I recommend this series to anyone who likes litrpg or fantasy books.
Could not stop myself from listening to this book. Finished it in less than a week. Highly recommended!!

Excellent as always! Only issue is that it seems like some sentences and even entire paragraphs are missing from some of the chapters.
if you’re with me how badly do you want to slap Carl, the things this family had to go through to get to the city you just want to either Ascend again to slap Carl or have Carl sent down so you can slap it repeatedly maybe you can get a class that called slap..
This might be my favorite entry in the books thus far. I did feel the discussion of the Iron Tangle did a little confusing as it was happening, but in the end it was a rewarding creation. Some of the voice work in this audio book was incredible. Donut screaming at Hekla was just incredible…
