The whole series keeps getting better with each book. It was nice to see some vulnerability with the characters.

So if you like fun fantasy this is ok. If you like more serious writing like say… Drizzit this may not be for you. This is light writing, and totally tongue in cheek, the narrator is good, he speaks with inflection and uses various voices keeping it more suited for an audio book.

Even though the focus was not on the main plot. It still manages to be one hell of a ride! For anyone that injoyes a good old fashion dungeon run, this volume delivers!

I really enjoyed these books but the author has finished it and in online interactions has told fans he doesn’t plan on having the last 4 books recorded. If Audible is the only way you consume books, don’t waste your time or money on this series.
