Excellent litrpg that US as fun as Exforce or Bobiverse and appropriate for more ages than DCc or ELLC. Easy to binge and the narrator tells you how to skip the stat updates without missing anything

So initially my buddy was bugging me to listen to this series which I put off because I could never sit down and listen to an audio book let alone a series I’ve never heard of before. Let me say. Jeff Hayes. Matt Dinniman. Thank you. I cannot get enough. Got hooked immediately and continuously..
This series is so over the top and amazing. Have not laughed out loud so much from a book in so long, maybe just a twisted sense of humor but the things Donut says are so spot on. I really like the underlying message and the way it is coming out.
Felt like this could be a TV show in the movie Idiocracy, slated just before “Ow! My Balls.” Often found my mind wandering off while listening. The NEW ACHIEVEMENT line was like nails on a chalkboard. And his solutions to problems were repetitive in my opinion. Just didn’t seem like a well thought out series,..
The storytelling was strong and the characters memorable. The detailed descriptions of characters was very nice. My main issues was the immense amount of pent up teenage lust durring some of the female scenes and the repeated descriptors of some scenes that were just described prior. Other than that overall it was a very enjoyable..
This was such a pleasure to delve into, it felt like an exploration into a zany new world. The concept seems a bit farcical at first, and the author shoehorns Carl into the dungeon fast, but it didn’t really bother me like I thought it would. This was my first time listening to a LitRpg..
Jeff Hays and Annie Ellicott did an excellent job narrating this book. it’s practically like an audio drama with the many voices that Jeff and Annie are able to perform. and there were times that Jeff’s over the top performance made me laugh out loud!
