I enjoy the narrator jeff hays and most of the stuff he does, however this book just felt lacking. the story is just okay its not really witty and if it had jokes they were few and far apart. i like litrpgs but i can not put my finger on it but something about this..
LITRPG world where humans & other races are taken here agents their will, & forced to survive. It’s a bit too simple, to be really good. Pace is faster & theirs quite a bit of action. Performance is good with many different voices. VERY LITTLE: game mechanics & sex. SOME; romance & humor.

Man there was great character development and crazy battles with humor that reminded me of Dresden. A little dark in theme like a Cthulhu setting, made light enough with constant humor not to yield an overwhelming vibe. Violence, adult jokes, and feet. Oh… the squish…. Coming up through the toes…. Uuuuunnngh. If that phrase sets..
This is what LITrpg should be! Yes LITrpg is stats, but often the writers get lost in them. Who cares about the character sheet of a monster that will be one-shotted? When I play games, I’m most focused on the red line of the creature ahead of me. If his line falls faster than mine,..
