Fun and entertaining story, worth listening to for the narration alone. I’m an avid audiobook listener, and this is the best voice acting I’ve ever heard. Highly recommend!

I usually read intense sci fi/fantasy or historical fiction books, and am not really into humorous books, but this one had my laughing all the time, and created endearing and relatable characters. Surprisingly fun read.

I found myself struggling to stop listening to this. Yeah it’s a bit cliche with the “harem” qualities. But I’d still like it even if there was a “help me stepbro I’m stuck” scene, which I’m thankful there wasn’t. There’s a bit of the usual breakdown of statistics, but it’s not too heavy. All in..

Soundbooth theatre once again impresses with their cast of all star narrators and voice actors. The story was excellent, establishing early that this is not a typical dungeon. I can’t wait for more and I’m finding the temptation to just throw money at this series VERY difficult to resist. I love the satire of this series and how it just throws all that I hate about LitRPGs on its head.

Matt did an incredible job presenting the complex train system while still keeping it mentally manageable. Love the subtle interplay that is happening across the entire story and am excited to keep listening.

Trails off a bit in the middle, but I was distracted fighting goblins and porking orcs. So, that could have been on me. Also, I started playing Witcher again because of this…never played WOW; it’s probably a perfect companion to this book.

Jeff Hays is an excellent narrator. The critical drinker’s part was absolutely terrible. For what it’s worth, he also seems to be an edge-lord piece of shit.
