The dialogue is so smart and inventive. The inner monologues of the characters make for intimate awareness of each character that no other stories can match. Can’t wait for more.
Very well done and unique story. Funny, action packed, witty, not many negatives overall. Performance was well done. I look forward to finishing out the series.
There was definitely less demon lust which I consider a good thing. The author likes to set up plot events and then go on long tangents during the events which is kind of annoying. So, the epilogue was really good. I’d like to express my enjoyment of that part in particular – rarely is self promotion so entertaining. The story is just as good. Let’s be honest, if you are here, then you could probably already read the first three books. If you like them, you will like this…
seriously. it’s funny, action packed and thr narration is just stellar. this is my second read through and likely won’t be my last.
Good story on its own even if a little faster passed than I would’ve liked. Cool tie in to the Supers universe.
While Soundbooth theater is well known and fairly trusted, I am amazed that they hired Justin Thomas James and have not fired him for incompetence – or, at the very least, given him notes on his performances and asked him to rerecord those that are awful. This is probably the simplest narration he could do..
The story is fun, focused on the fantasy adventure and a good listen. Not sure if I am a fan of the sound effects during the reading but I will finish the collection.
