I’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series, but unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to my expectations. The author seems to be attempting to create drama and evoke emotional situations repeatedly, but these attempts often fall flat. the reading is great, with clear character transitions… but the writing is of a emotional and gender awareness level that I’d only have found acceptable as a teenager in the 90’s. Female characters’ stories are .. in service to their romance with the dark, brooding, and combat-experienced MC.
Love the premise and the series. I like world building and settlement building so this works out. If I had to say one thing I didn’t like was that Tika’s character stopped developing and seems to only be there to fulfill the MC’s FTB “harem” desires. That is a minor irritation and overall I can’t..
The stody of a ravenous mimic and its bizarrely immortal minions starts out with potential, but falls short of building empathy with any characters or suspense with the storyline.
Doughnut’s monologue during final advertisement at the end was by far the most heartfelt and deeply moving words of this wonderful tale. I can’t wait to fire up the next one. Why wait? I’m buying it right now!
It’s like playing an RPG, but for real tho. I’m doom guy smashing thru middle earth but underground!Something like that. Just a good fun read. You’re gonna need some more credits!

This story is a fun ride. Sondbooth Theatre, along with the author, and the narrator did an amazing job. A liche as an Archon of Science-brilliant!More, please!
Enjoyed book, except for the rape/sex tidbits became too much after a while. Would of been fine without even mentioning it.

Loved the narrator! So funny! New Achievement! Finding a new series to enjoy is its own reward!
Harold isn’t a spine chilling terror at first glance and he isn’t one for skulduggery. it’s en-joint-able to listen to a character have a very one dimensional drive. the characters interact nicely with a good amount of ribbing back and forth. I’ll have this one rattling about my skull for a while.
