It is a very good book but i wish this came out later since i already got the first edition. pixel ate needs to say what happed after the actual raid started and make a new book… loads of new books. Maybe a cross between the mob squad and the acidental minecraft family…

The world building seems well thought out, and the characters are more interesting than most similar books. Definitely worth a few laughs as well. Also the bone-daddy jokes. Harold casts “pun-ishing humor”. It’s super effective. Listener takes 1 psychic damage.

This series was great all the way through! I really enjoyed the story line and also how the perceived bad race was the one to save the day. It was an emotional ending and not even close to what I was expecting!!! Well worth the credit.

Really liked the various plot points that were brought to light in this particular book. Getting more info on the dungeons and how the NPCs work as well as the information from the Anarchist’s Cookbook were really fun. Plus all the team ups that Carl and Donut had! Really neat story so far!

The plot advances, some powers behind the scenes are revealed, and Carl and Donut find themselves leading the charge to unravel it all once again. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in the faction wars.
Main character and first person point of view character is difficult to enjoy, entitled and very modern points of view. Hates nobles for being entitled, but has no understanding of Duty and debts. Treats the employees of others as extensions of them. However, all of the secondary characters including the mimic are great fun. World..
I love the character development and humor. I’m impressed how the author pulls things together from previous books and hints at future books as well.
