The hype is real. (No Spoilers) Early on in the book there is perhaps too much detail given for how the game works and too much time given to reading out stat increases and numbers of throwaway items, but in hindsight that front-loading of information was necessary exposition that doesn’t get hammered in repetition across..

I have read some reviews about operation bounce house that were fairly pessimistic. I deeply disagree with their perspective. this had a very human focus and storytelling aspect. it focused on humans and the interactions in the desire to survive. this is a book that is worth the time to read or listen to
