Hays is a fantastic narrator, though some of the sound effects are a bit clunky at times. The story is a journey through tropeland but it and the writing isn’t bad until… SPOILER ALERT: The Lawyered chapter is infuriating. It’s impossible to think the MC (or the author for that matter) could be so stupid..
Jeff is an amazing narrator, I have never been disappointed by anything he has done
I did find the book a little slow and difficult to listen to in the beginning but the author reveals why as you progress. just hang in there and be sure that it gets better. unfortunately book 2 doesn’t release till 1-17-24.
A very enjoyable base-building litrpg. Not much humor, but the writing is decent and the progression keeps you listening. Warnings: extended torture scene and allusion to goblin smut.

This series in so unbelievably addictive. I listen to this book every opportunity I get, even while in the gym. It is relatable, riveting, action packed, and rally just a well written captivating story.
First the good, I’ve gone through the whole series and it has unique characters, perspective, and a fun story line but…..I could never recommend this series without warning some one of the over the top sexual explicitness. The emotional roller coaster of this one, woooo. So good! The plot twists and character development in this DCC book 5 was probably one of my favorites in the series so far.

definitely a lot of laughs. A very light and satirical take on litrpg. Had me laughing out loud quite often.
Amazing story that keeps you wanting more and more. The narrator is amazing. I love that I recognize towns in Washington.
If you’re somehow here and you haven’t listened to/ read/ experienced books 1-3, you should probably go do that first. As for the rest of you, all I can say is that if you enjoyed the previous books in this series, you’ll really like this one, too.
