All of the examples I would give would spoil it, but Matt Dinniman captures characters unlike any other. in just a few sentences he can shift your perspective on a person entirely, and Jeff Hayes as the narrator is simply perfect. He earns everything that he is drowning in according to the third book.

Matt Diniman or whatever his name is, can REALLY write. So many series got to Crud after the first few books. But this just keeps getting better!

So far all 6 books have been amazing! I’ve listened to them too many times to count! Can’t wait for the next book. I never want this series to end!
I have all the previous books series and each one the stakes are increased. By the end of the book I am already needing the next one to see where our beloved crawlers end up. It would be nice to see Carl get a love interest or a tease of one.
When people say there’s no such thing as a perfect something, it’s because they have not listen to the audiobook of this series. It is expertly written in a way that Douglas Adams, Terry Pratcher, or Neil Gaiman would all find similar to their own work, but fresh and unique. And then the voice acting..

this is one of my favorite litRPG opening book so far! I feel like Carl is going to keep getting stuck in weirdness that can only happen in a book like this and I’m here for it all!
