SO funny and great narration!! This is not my normal genre but someone recommended it to be and I’m so glad I gave it a listen. It’s the best book I’ve listened to in a while!!
Most definitely a great start to a story I’m both invested in the character and the world their buildings slowly but steadily ID love a deep dive into what the past of these games hold their first landings on Earth were like but until that day I have this book series to hold me over
I’m not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t this. I tried a couple other gamelit games and they just didn’t grab me. It was either too dry, or full of humor that didn’t land. The one exception that comes to mind is the awesome Critical Roll series. This book, though, has been a blast!..

I’m not a huge litRPG reader but this was funny and compelling and the sound effects and full cast style was great.

I’ve now listened to those series three times, once a year since this came out. The cliffhanger we’ve been left on leaves the door open for so many amazing twists and turns to continue the story to even greater heights! I just hope the author is okay and mentally sound.
