Review from The Antventure Begins →
I’m about 1/2 thru the first book and I’m all in! There’s a lot of people saying that they don’t dig the narrator. I think it’s well done and after about 20 books narrated by RC Bray it’s a nice change of pace. ( not saying one is better than the other just different approach)..
I was not sure at first but, I started liking then loving the book. I liked it Enough I have recommended it to others like my younger sister.
Great narrator, one of my favorites.Writing is good as well, timing on the humor is pretty amazing. Storyline and characters (even the bad guys) are unique and well rounded.Plot is unexpected and far from expected. Will probably listen to this again and enjoy it just as much as the first time.
Good beginning and good ending, but a long slog in the middle filled with stats and town building which robs the story of its momentum.
I do like Sara king’s writing but sometimes it feels like she spends too much time writing self pitying monologues and not enough action and interactions between characters in this book. I already looking forward to the next one in the series I can’t reveal too much without giving away a lot of plot points Good action good characteristics some new characters that are added will really nice if you like the previous ones in the series I really feel you enjoy this one apologize for..
There is so much to praise about this series. The writing is terrific, the narration outstanding, and the universe vast. There are so many interwoven plot lines that there are new surprises regularly, yet they are not difficult to follow. One thing is certain, as perfectly demonstrated by the ending: don’t EVER think you know..
