There are no words for how amazing this series is. The humor, the character development, the emotion. When I miss the characters I listen to wonderwall. I cried with laughter and some scenes broke my heart.

Book felt very mechanical in narrating every step taken by the lead character which can get tedious. Some listeners were comparing it to ready player one, that and the humor in the sample got me to give it a chance.
Better than game of thrones, better than Stephen King, better than any series I’ve ever read/heard. Jeff is fantastic and the mind of Matt brings forth of so many intersecting storylines. I remain amazed.
The ridiculous nonsense continues…this book had me laughing until I cried, and had several moments where I was genuinely stressed out about certain characters or even felt myself moved by the things they were doing. The end credits? I almost peed my pants.
I love this series The first time I listened to a Carl and Donut book, I thought I was hearing Cronk from Emperor’s New Groove. Whoever decided to get Patrick Warburton to narrate in this book is brilliant. I didn’t think the series could get better, but it keeps improving. BTW, this female Boomer highly..
This book draws you in quickly and stays a page-turner. The reading is more of a performance/production that adds a lot to the book, so audiobook is the way to go for this title.
