This series is so much fun to listen to. I can’t wait for #7
I Love These Books
Review from The Eye of the Bedlam Bride →
New day, new dungeon floor, new monsters to defeat in Carl and Donut’s signature hilariously flamboyant fashion. It always seems as if they’re stumbling through these situations, making sh*t up on the fly… but that’s surely not the case. Just kidding, that’s EXACTLY what they’re doing! I totally loved this book. I had a stupid grin on my face the entire time I was listening to it. It was just so amusing to listen to an intelligent game character trying to reason out why the world around her worked in such weird ways, and why the chosen one kept ignoring people..
A friend of mine, recommended this, and based on the name, I wasn’t so sure. Was totally surprised, and ended up loving it. Rolling onto the next one right now. narrator was excellent.
This entire series has been a joy. Not only is the story excellent, but the voice acting is a masterwork. I’m hanging on for the next volume by my fingernails.
If an amazing, open minded and wild adventure is what your looking for this will quench your thirst. I’m thankful to have started this series and to have gotten to the most recent release. I can’t wait for the next book! No spoilers, but Matt has set us up for an awesome floor. “Are you..
wish I could say something nice but I can’t. the story is just to forced and little to no world building… got to chapter 8 and decided I can’t any longer 😫. The characters are just to un realistic it hurts.
OK SBT did an amazing job with what they were given to work with. Not sure what the authors were going for, but it was an entire book full of meet random person, spend 1 afternoon with them and dedicate the rest of your life to them. Seriously, it happened 4 times. Not to mention..
Everytime there’s a new audiobook released; I start whole the series over again, just to stretch things out a bit longer. But even THAT isn’t enough, because before I know it I’m listening to the last few minutes of the the newest book, & I’m NEVER ready for it to be over.
