Sarah King’s books are always a blast to listen to. Not only is the story enthralling but the voice acting is incredible.

Definitely sucked me right in with the creative and mysterious story line with it’s action, desperation and comedy to keep it from getting too dark.The narrator does a great job and has probably heard it before but the voice for Carl sounds quite a bit like Patrick Warburton.

I can not get enough of this book series!! I absolutely love it. Full of laugh’s, and heart strings being pulled. I think the series gets better and better after each book, what a great story.

The author clearly has a thing for goblins and power discrepancy in relationships. The first time MC meets his love interest (back in book 1, so if you’ve made it this far it shouldn’t be a spoiler) he describes her as “child like”, and I would say that’s a fairly apt description. It’s a creepy..

While I am generally not inclined to read love stories, Sara King’s writing style and skill with the quill erased made picking this book a no-brainer. I am sold on Zach’s performance; however, I was not entirely sold on Emma’s portrayal of Blaze and the other female characters.

This has got to be the absolute best LitRPG series ever. No hyperbole, the absolute best.
