The Narrator is one of my favorites it changes in book two which always feels weird for a series. Maybe spoiler: the prerogative of the enemy is poor to say the least it feels like a massive plot hole to me but I did enjoy listening to it until I got triggered by said plot..
It’s like a 20+ hour set up for a totally unanticipated punchline. I died laughing and almost got in trouble for doing so at work. Oops
Loved as much as the other 4 book. Can’t wait for book 6. SBT performance adds so much to these books.
This book was arguably better than the last one. Never did get back to what made the series interesting, namely the homicidal box. There was only one instance of box complaining about its other personality and that did not last long so I can let it slide. Otherwise I still don’t like the whole war..
