I’m writing this after my second read through, and can admit that I was emotionally struck more this time than the first. Don’t get me wrong. Books 1-6 were amazing. I honestly thought they couldn’t get better, but this one knocked it out of the park. I think what I like most about this book..

This story is excellent. It has a different feel from DDC, and Im glad I knew that going in to it. I love this author’s skill at character development and plot creation. He’s got a real talent for exploring important issues without distracting from the story, being preachy or oversimplifying their complexity. I’ll definitely re-listen.

Matt is killing it these days. A welcome departure from Dungeon Crawler Carl. I’d love a sequel to see where this goes. The story is fully fleshed out, but I want more!
it was middle of the road in terms of everything. I found myself spacing out quite a bit. the characters were flat, the story was so so, the ending was satisfactory. it’s OK.

I instantly purchased all the audiobooks and physical books. I am on my 3rd re-read of this series because it is that good!!
it’s laugh out loud funny! I read the first book but several people from work said that the audiobooks are even better because of the great voice work. They were correct!!! loved it and bought the rest of the audiobooks for the series.
