Love this book! I listened to it two days after release. wonderfully written and awesome performance!
I don’t want to write a big long review, but I gotta give this author and narrator some major props. One of my all time favorite series, partly because the story is so bizarrely amazing and partly because the narrator does such a great job with everyone’s voice. Keep up the good work you guys,..
Nothing but twists and turns here in this book of the series. Can’t Wait to Listen to the Next Book! As Dungeon Crawler would sad “ You Won’t Break Me”Thank You Mr. Matt
Awesome book. In my opinion, it’s the best in the series. Performance is consistent with previous books. One caveat, please stop the use of capital themed yelling in the chat. It would be fine if it was only occasionally, but it is every time Donut messages someone. It makes listening to this difficult with the..
Another amazing installment in the DCC universe. I couldn’t wait to hear the whole story and dreaded every minute ute closer to the end I got. Jeff Hayes is a damn legend that makes this series come to life.
Once this story got going, I loved every minute of it. It has quite a bit of humor, but it’s not over the top. I always love good bard litRPG’s, and this one does a great job with the setup forcing social solutions. Many books in the genre have low charisma main characters forcing combat..
Carl is angry unnecessarily, sometimes acting like an idiot. The descriptions are getting increasingly absurd, and not really funny. The AI voice is now screeching and annoying more often. The pace of speaking is uneven. Sometimes too slow, sometimes too fast in the heat of the battle. Overall still a good listen, not as good..
The audio cast and sound effects are amazing, the story has great progression and I feel carries the story at a good pace. I feel it’s a good balanced story.
Every book in the series is more entertaining than the last. Adding in the Soundbooth Theater production just makes it incredible. I can’t wait for the next book in the set.
