Best satire I’ve read in years. Highly recommended for anybody who’s ever play an RPG.

The characters are boring, the MC is annoying, the sound effects are way too much, and the story is an absolute slog to get through. I quit and returned the book to get my credit back when there was about 5 hours left. I just couldn’t take it anymore. There are so many better options..

Yes, there is a lot of settlement building. but it fits the theme of the character background. Oren isn’t superman, he’s a logistics guru. He wins by planning. Which I think is a refreshing take from the usually “me strongest” in other litRPGs. Vic is also hilarious in this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series of books, I laughed openly and got to the edge of my seat often
