this story start out with the mc having been crippled by his own powers and then proceeds to show suddenly that it wasn’t as useless as he thought and the real adventure begins this book is an excellent introduction into this world and offers and great Segway into the next book

Narration is spot on. It was such an awesome treat for the mind, this is clearly a work of art. I want the next book right this second.

I like the story but was expecting more. it was nice to have something laid back, but something was missing.

Love the concept of an old guy returning to the past to relive his life and do better. The way that card magic and tower system are set up is genius as well. The story flows from beginning to end!

I’m not usually a fantasy lover.My typical go to genres are sc-fi and space opera.But this series is spectacular. You don’t want to miss this series. I’m on my 2nd listen through and I’m already Jones-ing in anticipation for the release of book #6.

The best series can’t wait to find out what is going to happen next. More
