The writing, the story, the performance. It’s all amazing. The series only gets better as it progresses. This book starts off a bit slow but man, oh man, keep with it.

Well, to be fair its the first time I have read this particular combination so its a low bar. However incongruous the elements seem all are executed well. It’s a fun story with lots of snark, excellent pop-culture references, memorable characters that you actually care about and lots of laughs.
