THOROUGHLY enjoyed every page of Boxy’s life story! I just finished the sixth book…all six in less than a week! Every book of the series definitely held my attention from front to back. I can’t wait for the 7th to come out and Boxy lives again… hell, make it a movie!

it’s okay, characters feel a little 2D. There is a little too much telling the reader rather than showing. Dialogue between characters is stiff at times.

So, this story starts off pretty dark as indicated by the blurb, but the author couldn’t commit and keep this story on a darkish revenge/vengeance quest that it started with. Which is fine given this is a series, and I’m not into grimdark stuff, but at the same time, the story got sidetracked with several..

This is such a great series! A friend of mine talked me into listening to the 1st on and I have not been able to stop. great story telling
this is one of those series I can honestly say ends too soon. book 2 could have easily be spun into its own trilogy and I would love to see books 1 and 3 explored further. I hope Rowland gets back to this series with more soon!
