I have listened to more then just the first book, I won’t blab about that my issue with this book is the same thing that is wrong throughout. The characters are flat and one dimensional, the pacing is non-existent, and the story is just a jumble of hot garbage. Now i don’t mean for this..

I caught myself tuning in and out of this one. The different levels are VERY complicated and sometimes hard to imagine. But Carl and Donut are still out there doing Carl and Donut things. Which is why I’m here. And of course, that ending! Jumping into the next book asap.
