the humor got a little old for me at first, not gonna lie it did grow on me, but at first this was hard to get into.

There was way too much going on to follow. I’ve reached my max with Donut. The plot armor, the love triangles, the many kids… I can’t it was an overload. I’m exhausted. If you plan to read this, pace yourself.
I’m trying my best to avoid spoilers. The group is forced to self-govern under pressure. For me, this makes the book more emotionally and morally engaging. I just finished book 7. Absolutely loved it. The narrator does a fantastic job. Just wish there wasn’t as much cussing. Because, for some people, that is a turn off.
I love how there’s a voice for the achievement unlocks and how well written the jokes are, the pauses are great timed for comedic timing. This first books pacing is a little on the slow side but I assume it’s because you are learning everything with the characters about their situation and how to get..
