this book was refreshing, funny, entertaing and surprising. definitely would recommend this series and I look forward to more.
The story continues and further pushes the boundaries of relatable fantasy storytelling. The characters are likeable with their flaws that would match those of people we might actually know. No one is perfect, but that doesn’t mean we all can’t do good.

There is no major problem or main vilan to defeat in this book. they run into a (formally) strong enemy from a past book, and just kill them off without any battle. the one big monster they do find is killed off with no trouble because they just magically (no pun intended) have massive bombs..
Idk what else to say except this is peak literature, it doesn’t get much better than this

the sound effects were awful. almost couldn’t get through any part with spider queen. sounded like a door hinge ok a chalkboard
Only wish the music and sound effects were less intrusive. It made it hard to hear the dialog in several places and broke the immersion.
