I wish there was a game I could play so that I could play along with Carl and Princess Donut.

The MC is depressed weiner and I like that I feel like if you that smart you can think philosophically about your the last human left so you should be hella despondent about that so I’m cool with that but only 30 minutes in and they’re already saying magic is real and it’s not coming..

production 15/5 love boxy missed fizzy this whole book was one long romp and ties up well at the end.

This was a great continuation of the DCC series. And while the “Cookbook” plays an important part in this chapter, “The Iron Tangle” (with cover art of Carl and Donut on a steam train) might’ve given a better indication of what Floor 4 is all about.

This book is the first book in the series where things get “real”. The theme of this series is a type of anger that I can’t even comprehend. I like it.

Whoever thought this narration needed weird circus/carnival music music please for the love of god hand the decision to someone else next time.

the book has funny moments. it’s also pretty brutal too. overall not the worst thing I’ve read. plus Jeff Hayes is always amazing. best recommendation don’t take it too seriously.
