absolutely amazing. can’t wait for more! each book just keeps getting better, which is saying something because the first one is ridiculously good.
Given a physicist, ai, and magic i was expecting a power fantasy. What I got instead was an endurance run of abject torture. Granted some people are into that and the story was gripping, I don’t know if I want to subject myself to a sequel.
The post-epilogue scenes reminded me why I hate most recent Soundbooth Theater productions. So long as they keep recording these without the sound effects and music, I’ll keep buying them.
This book is more of the same stuff from the first three books. Good humor, good action, great story, great narration, and character progression. It’s a very good mix of well thought out writing, combined with adolescent antics and adult humor. Finished this installment way too quick after waiting FOREVER for it.. now the wait..
This truly gets better and better. I’m not one for post apocalyptic books but pet lovers and the simple DP right hero is spectacular
The story continues to improve, and the performance is off the charts. Looking forward to the next installment of what now is my favorite series.
I’m coming from bobiverse, expeditionary force, project Hail Mary, and others and I loved this one! Already got the rest of the series and am really excited
