it was an enjoyable listen, but for whatever reason my wandered a bit during this story vs.book 1. I’d say they are on the same level of quality story but perhaps the novelty of the story in book 1 left a stronger impression.

Best goddamn book I’ve ever listed to. This Matt Dinniman knows how to write a story and the narrators take this book over the top. Just read it.
I do have some criticisms, a few hours from the end i almost returned the book when the MC does a thing that, though hinted at earlier, just feels weird and doesn’t really improve the story. I didn’t return it, and the rest of the book is good – so I’m glad i just stuck..
Just like after the first book, it appears Matt is taking a one floor approach again. This is fine, although in curious if he will commit to going all the way to 18. I doubt it, we be lucky if they make it to 12 without slipping. since that would mean a ton more books..

This is now one of my top 5 favorite Dungeon Core books. I really enjoyed the unique elements that made it different from others in the same genre. The story was well told and I really enjoyed the different characters. I am really looking forward to the next book and I can’t wait to see..
the voice acting is great. This book seemed rushed and filled with way to much filler, just to abruptly end the story as fast as possible. This book also adds a whole bunch of plot holes as well.
If you’ve made it here there isn’t anything in here that would disappoint or cause you to drop the series. If you’ve stumbled onto this page not having read any of the books immediately purchase the first book. The narration is still fantastic. The characters are growing/changing in interesting ways. The plot is thickening. And..
