The plot suffered in this book mostly from a social agenda the author was trying to push and hammer the reader over the head with. I would’ve appreciated it more if they had focused on their characters in their story rather than a message they’re trying to drive home. Regardless of political affiliation, this book..
The book is well written to entertain. The performance is amazing! My only complaint is the major rollback of the grim situation tension near the end of the book. NO SPOILERS.
It has all of the juicy leveling up and RPG mechanics with less mucking around. A well written book I could use a movie of. Carl and Donut can have my money.

I instantly fell in love with this book. The way Jeff Hayes narration brings this book to life is amazing. Matt Dinniman did a great job crafting humor into this book.
