Between the added reverb trying to signal “inner dialog” and the frequent attempts to make things feel dramatic that just…aren’t, it got hard to listen to. Just wasn’t feeling it. It wasn’t bad, just not…exciting.

If you like vanilla ice cream you might like this book. The hero is nothing special and remains nothing special to the end. Honestly, the main bad guy seems like he has a better story. That being said, it wasn’t bad. Just very vanilla.

Wow this book was selected randomly but it was extremely good. The characters are well fleshed out and the excitement keeps you wanting to know what’s next. Good job author! Great job performance wise! I can’t wait to hear the next one.
