Finally gave in and tried it. It was ok but I probably won’t pick up the next one.

Review from Everybody Loves Large Chests →
Another great dungeon Carl book, quite unexpected in many ways and equally great action, adventure, and growth. Lots and lots of fun.
I love this series, the main character, and the performance. Highly recommended. I need more. So much more I want to see in this world.
I bought this because I need one of those LOL, stupid, funny books, so I gave this a try. It wasn’t as spoofy as I thought it was going to be. It wasn’t as funny as I thought it might be, but a decent story is hidden behind the goofy cover art and funny book..
fell in love with it quite quickly, the narrator is amazing and the story is intelligent and fun. (I’m now four books in and still loving it.) The level up stuff can be a little tiresome, but you have to keep in mind what it would look like in printed form for why it is..
About 2/3 of the way into the book, the timeline jumps back and forth. at the end of the book it jumps back and stays there. WTF kind of ending is that?!?! The end of the book just leaves me confused, and unhappy about wasting my time listening to this nowhere book.
Wow, absolutely amazing!!I was so captivated with the narrative, the characters..the sound is lurring you inside, just gulped this one!! 😉
My favorite narrators, my favorite author, all together into one wonderful audiobook. I was beyond excited to see SotD on Audible!
