Sincerely hoping this wasn’t somehow the last book of the series since I didn’t follow it on RR. This series is so very enjoyable and the Narrator cast brings so much life to the work. Fingers crossed for more ELLC.
So many authors these days feel the need to illustrate their political beliefs by spinning them into the fiction of their universe. They go through the basic tenants of their belief system, sprinkling in emotion to make the dogma seem more palatable. The author is right that they can’t please everyone (they probably saw this..
I always appreciate an audiobook that has sound effects and the VO can sing when needed. Enjoyable story that had some engaging parts, but I’m probably going to switch to a different and come back to this one later.
I got the impression this was read by a bunch of junior high drama students who thought that over inflection and over acting made up for actual talent. The story could have been interesting, but also fell short. I will be returning this audio book.
What a great way to end this series. I personally really enjoyed every moment. I can’t wait to see what new stories will come next!
Took me a little while to get into it, probably mostly due to my lack of experience with the LitRPG genre. Once I got into it I loved it. Love the narrator also. While it is probably a faux pas to mix books in reviews but I kept expecting the hunter goblin to yell “Pancakes!!”.
