the headline says it all, this is just so much fun! I have to shout out the narrator, he really makes it great!
Mostly just a character who backstory is as crammed full of stereotypes. He’s the rich kid/steer thug badass/traumatized youth/master manipulator/ humble genius, who just comes off as a whinny teenager or desperate cars salesman. Zero subtly and overly aggressive with no real power or authority and yet tyrants bother to listen to what he says..
The story is good, I love the characters and it has both post apocalyptic and Lit RPG elements, that make it ideal for me. I have 2 complaints. 1. They repeatedly say that 90% of people will be killed off but in reality less than 1 in a thousand people survive. That’s not 90% 2…
I work 10-hour days so I’m always on the lookout for longer audible books and when I saw this series get mentioned in one of the litrpg fan groups I’m in on Facebook I thought I’d give it a try I only made it halfway through book two. Story: Normally I’m not a big fan..

Book three had me only a touch disappointed, but The Gate Of The Feral Gods made me eat those words. This is the best one so far in this series. The shenanigans, the adventure, the emotion, the craziness. I cackled out loud multiple times listening to this on my daily bike rides. Very excited for..
everything from the MC is screamed. it’s headache inducing. story is lame, progression is forced and the world is poorly fleshed out. most of the story is first person, which gets boring and repetitive after the first five hours. not worth the time or the credit.
I really enjoyed the first books in the series, but hated this! The story was pretty much what we have come to expect from authors. They are looking to get their next payday so they write a nothing book in an establishment series and hope the listener doesn’t have the time to look for a..
