The intrigue that has been building, promising something big, really starts to develop and present where the story is going. This is probably my favorite book in the series this far, which means Edward Castle is doing an excellent job. Great book, great series, great performance by Jeff, it’s just great all around.
I listened to all 5 of these books over the last couple of months. The characters have their foibles, and they’re not always believable, but overall you do come to care about them, in particular Alexander and Jewels.
