I dip into these kind of novels from time to time, and this trilogy is the legit best so far. Great world building. Mostly well rounded characters. “Fade to black”method for sex scenes. Interesting relationship dynamics. Lots of nods to various tropes. It’s best to take each book as a slightly alternate reality following the same..
The endless battle just made the story to long . They don’t capture me like the rest of the books. Sun character where just place randomly.
This was a very exciting and interesting story of the Vikings! If you like history you will need this one. Jeff Hays did a fantastic job narrating it. He made the characters come to life.
The story/world setting is very nice and the lacing/ character development is done very well and soumd booth theater narration is top notch like always. if you enjoy vr rpg stories, give it a try!
I swear the author while adding tons of humor to the book the closing credits are hilarious each and every time
This is a weaker offering than the previous books, but good enough that I finished it and will probably get the next one. The MC leaned a little too much on his “let’s see how funny I can be” side.
I loved every minute of this book from the jokes to the cringe. I enjoyed how everything came together in the end as well. Also not gonna lie I teared up at the end. i wanted to know more about how people reacted to what happened in the real life ending part but damn…. just..
